Calmes, Founder and President of First Equity Capital, IncorporatedFrank Calmes has been active in international finance, investment and venture capital, project finance, and business development for almost thirty years. Transactions in which he has served as advisor range in value from several million to hundreds of millions of dollars. His experience and network of associates is
vast and crosses all industries in both the private and public sectors. Prior to founding First Equity Capital in 1985, Frank served as Vice President of Britannia Capital, Ltd., and President and CEO of Calco Marine. Frank's early professional experience included manufacturing finance and business development for Westinghouse Credit Corporation. Frank has a B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana State University. Duane has been a principal advisor to the First Equity Capital Board of Directors for more than fifteen years. His area of expertise is Engineering and related disciplines. With more than forty-five years of managerial and technical experience working on large scale, international engineering projects, Duane ensures that all engineering proposals meet the highest standards. Prior to joining First Equity Capital, Duane traveled the world consulting on major
projects, including the design and management of a Pakistani engineering program created to salvage sunken vessels off the coast of India. Duane was also Project Manager for the development and implementation of a highly technical and structural program for test facilities for the Saturn V Rocket. Duane has directed other operations including the construction of a chemical acid plant in Louisiana and the Pomona Dam in Kansas. Duane's early career was dedicated to the design and
construction of strategic facilities for the North American Defense Command. Duane has a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Mr. James E. Pratt, General Counsel, United StatesJames Pratt has more than forty-five years of experience in commercial litigation. Now based in New York, he has practiced before federal courts and administrative agencies
in the United States and abroad. Expert in all phases of securities and investment banking law, James now specializes in emerging growth companies seeking venture capital and a public market for their securities. Prior to setting up a private practice, James was a General Partner at Kirlin, Campbell & Keating, and General Counsel and Partner for the investment banking firm of Van Alstyne, Noel & Company. James has a B.A. from Yale, and an L.L.B. from Harvard Law School.
Dr. Enrique Celis Moza-Rosales, General Counsel, EuropeAs General Counsel, Europe, Enrique brings to First Equity Capital and its clients more than forty years diverse experience in legal and financial consulting across Europe and South America. Prior to joining First Equity Capital, Enrique served as CEO of four major corporations in Spain. Enrique has been very successful in engineering transnational mergers, financial
reconstruction, and economic planning projects for both private corporations and the not-for-profit sector. During his distinguished career Enrique has served as advisor to the Boards of Directors of more than twenty-eight major corporations in Europe and South America. A Doctor of Law, Enrique obtained his degrees at the Central University of Venezuela and the Havarra- CESEM Institute in Spain. Enrique speaks Spanish and French. |
